Morning Light & The Sacred Return

Every sunrise is an invitation to begin again.

Dear One,

There was a season of my life when mornings felt heavy, when I woke with anxiety instead of peace.
The world demanded more: more effort, more proving. I believed rest had to be earned. If I wasn’t doing, I felt guilty as if slowing down meant I was falling behind.

But as I healed, I discovered a truth: Morning is not a task — it is a portal.

The Buddha once said, “Each morning, we are born again. What we do today is what matters most.”

In the stillness before the world wakes, I found myself. Through breath, prayer, journaling, and meditation, I began to return to who I truly am.

Some mornings, nature held me like a mother, wiping tears from my eyes and refreshing my spirit with every step. I would place my hands together in gratitude before my walk,
And end with 33 squats and a bow to the sun, offering thanks for this life, this body, this sacred journey.

These rituals were never about perfection. Some mornings were messy, but every morning was holy. Because each sunrise gives us another chance:
to choose presence over pressure, soul over speed, truth over fear.

Peace isn’t something we chase; it’s something we remember.

So tomorrow, when light touches your window, let it remind you:

You are alive.
You are guided.
You are becoming.

With tenderness,
Sandy
